Keeping Our Kids Warm This Winter
Community is at the core of our values here at Harcourts. And we’re always looking for fun ways to support the communities we work with.
Helping children by supporting charities and organisations in our communities is hugely important to us. Last year we were delighted to support Foster Hope Otago and we’ve teamed up with them again for their latest initiative, the annual Pyjama Drive.
Did you know that many kids in foster care have never owned a brand new pair of pyjamas or a cuddly dressing gown? And coming into Otago’s winter months with chilly nights and frosty mornings, it’s especially important to help keep these kids toasty and warm.
Foster Hope believes that every child in foster care deserves to know that their community cares about them, and gifting them a brand-new item is a way of showing them just that.
Until June the 30th, all of our Harcourts Otago offices are official drop off points for new pyjamas and dressing gowns, and we’re strongly encouraging you to get behind this great initiative.
Head down to your nearest retail outlet (support local!!), pick up a pair of snuggly winter jammies and drop them off at your local Harcourts office.
Living deep down in the south, we all know the necessity of keeping kids warm and we’re excited to get behind such a fun and caring initiative.
If you’d rather donate money you can do so via the website www.fosterhope.org.nz and don’t forget to click Otago, so your donation is allocated to the right area.
Thank you for your generosity in advance.
