Your future starts here — what to expect from Harcourts Queenstown’s Careers Evening

Join us at our Careers Evening on 31 August to learn more about joining our successful sales team at Harcourts Queenstown.

Manager Geoff Stevens will host the Careers Evening.
Geoff Stevens, Harcourts Queenstown manager and business owner, is kicking things off at 7pm with an introduction to the industry and why it’s an incredibly rewarding career path. Over the course of the evening, Geoff will aim to answer all the questions you might have around:
  • How to get into the industry
  • What the returns are really like
  • What makes a successful agent
  • Why Harcourts and Highland Real Estate Group offer a real advantage.
“Lots of people like the idea of working in real estate,” says Geoff, “But it can be hard to find a definitive answer about the start-up costs, licensing process and the reality of working in a commission-only industry. At our Careers Evening, we’ll explain the different routes to becoming licensed, go into detail about the costs and income and give our advice on how to make a successful start in your career.”
Geoff will welcome new team members Jason Drewett and John Galt to talk about their recent entries into the industry.
Jason Drewett Harcourts Queenstown
Consultant Jason Drewett is a guest speaker at our Careers Evening.
Jason’s known in the office for his structured processes and prospecting practices which have proved instrumental in his immediate success — he’s quickly become the go-to agent in his farm area Lake Hayes Estate. John was enrolled in the Harcourts Scholarship Programme and his previous management experience at Smiths City has seen him achieve an excellent start in his career since gaining his license in November 2016.
John Galt Harcourts Queenstown
John Galt will share how he got started in the industry.
“Jason and John are fantastic examples of the modern-day real estate consultant,” says Geoff. “Both will provide valuable first-hand insight into their experiences of training and working at Harcourts Queenstown. I’d encourage both practiced and aspiring agents to come along and hear how they’re achieving such great results.” On top of that, we’ll explain how Harcourts offers unparalleled support and backing for consultants. The Harcourts name is synonymous with professional service and, as the most trusted real estate brand in New Zealand, you have the advantage of a recognisable and reliable brand behind you. Our industry-leading technology and systems make you more productive and our world-renowned training and development processes keep you at the top of your game. At a Group level, we’re the largest real estate franchise in Otago with our six Harcourts offices throughout the region. 100 per cent owned by people who work in the business and with a management team that is completely non-selling, we’re personally invested in your success and want to help you be the best you can be. Collaboration, teamwork and creating a fun working environment are very important to us and we’re quick to recognise and reward achievements. At our Queenstown office, the average income is well above the nationwide average for Harcourts agents and we love buying and selling property in this incomparable part of the world.
“Queenstown is one of the best places in the country to be in real estate and Harcourts offers outstanding support on your path to success,” says Geoff. “Take the first step to achieving your next level and join us at our Careers Evening.”
