Careers Evening: Achieve your next level with Harcourts Dunedin
We’re looking forward to meeting aspiring and successful real estate professionals as we look to explain why Harcourts is the only choice if you want to excel, enjoy and achieve more in real estate. Join us for our Careers Evening at 7pm on Wednesday 2nd August.
The relaxed evening will be hosted by Harcourts Dunedin manager, owner and auctioneer Richard Stringer, who enjoyed a highly successful sales career for more than a decade with Harcourts in both Dunedin and Queenstown before transitioning to a management role in 2012. Now, his focus is driving the success of his team as they utilise next generation technology and systems in a forward-thinking, consultative approach to real estate.
“We have fantastic team and a fun open office environment in the heart of Dunedin,” says Richard, “It’s an incredibly strong base, and now it’s time to expand to meet the demand of the market. More experienced consultants will strengthen our team and help us become the largest team and greatest force in Dunedin property.”
So why would a consultant choose a move to Harcourts Dunedin?
“The name of Harcourts is a real appeal — it’s the largest real estate brand in New Zealand and it’s just been named the most trusted real estate brand for the fifth year running by the readers of Reader’s Digest. The name is synonymous with professionalism, a dedication to quality service and access to resources and information — which is a huge draw for any real estate professional.”
But on top of that, Richard explains, we have a real focus on being the locals that locals can trust.
“We love Dunedin and we’re passionate about the city. Our knowledge of the market is intimate and clients recognise that — our repeat business and referral numbers are extremely high. We’re generating more business because of our attention to detail and commitment to our clients’ best interests.”
What can people expect from the upcoming Careers Evening?
“It’s a chance to learn more about our company and the way we work,” says Richard. “We’ll explain the benefits of working at Harcourts Dunedin as well as our systems and processes so you get a good idea of what working with us would be like with us. Many of our current consultants will also be there, so you can network and hear their opinions. It’ll be relaxed and informal with complimentary nibbles and drinks.”
Additionally, Richard will explain how someone looking to embark on a new career could get started in the real estate industry.
“We’re definitely open to hiring newly-licensed sales consultants,” says Richard. “We’ve recently brought on board some young, promising consultants who are already doing fantastically well for themselves. They’re showing that if you’re driven, motivated and a self-starter kind of person, you can thrive from the get-go.”
Many people have long considered pursuing a career in real estate but just aren’t sure how. Richard and the team will explain how to get qualified, how long it takes and how much it costs, as well as how The Harcourts Academy, with its world-class training and ongoing support systems, will benefit you as you get started on your new career.
