A Night Of Fashion

Community-minded as they are, the Harcourts Dunedin team put their hand up to support Dunedin’s Fashion For A Cure event. The annual event is held across the country and is hosted by Breast Cancer CURE — New Zealand’s only, not-for-profit organisation which is dedicated to funding scientific research to find a cure for breast cancer.

Ticket holders enjoyed a glittery evening of food, drinks and top New Zealand Fashion. Held at the iconic Emerson’s Brewery, models strutted down the catwalk in the latest collections from 14 leading Designers such as Augustine, Storm, NOM*d, Trelise Cooper and Kathryn Wilson. Dunedin’s Leading Auction Manager, Richard Stringer had the privilege of running the charity auction.

The sold-out event was hosted by funny woman Justine Smith, who had the mostly female crowd in stitches, and she was ably helped by Dunedin’s own P from Classic Hits. Richard said the Harcourts team was proud to be associated with a fantastic night out with bubbles, canapes and live music – which is a highlight on the Dunedin social calendar.

“We love getting involved in the community and Fashion for a Cure is always such a fun evening for a great cause,” he said.

“We’re thrilled to have played a part in raising over $56,000 on the night. That kind of money is the icing on the cake.”
